OT Connections Minnesota is a private practice that offers occupational therapy services to support individuals and families navigating the world with Autism.
We are committed to empowering individuals and families living with autism throughout the lifespan, from the crucial early childhood years to a fulfilling adulthood. We recognize the profound impact autism has on both the diagnosed individual and their family system. Our philosophy centers on providing comprehensive occupational therapy services that address the unique needs of each person, fostering independence, participation, and a sense of well-being across all stages of life.
Dr. Butler received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University. She attended St. Catherine University and graduated with a Master's in Occupational Therapy. She completed her Post-Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at the University of Wisconsin - Madison where she articulated the role of occupational therapy in a mental health based equine assisted co-treatment model for traumatized and at-risk youth.
Dr. Sheryl Butler has over 20 years studying and working with toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults living with Autism. She has delivered occupational therapy services in outpatient clinics, mental health settings schools, camps, and equine assisted settings. She combines her knowledge of sensory integration, motor development, and neurobiology of trauma with her professional and personal experiences of navigating life with Autism.
